How much will all this great stuff cost you? I listed costs associated with
some typical Web site types. Each site is different so don't worry if your site
needs don't seem to fit a type listed. I will try to determine what you envision
for your site and give you a price based on that. The prices quoted below are
subject to change.
Personal Web Site: $100
Establish an individual's presence on the Web. One page, one picture.
Start-up support included.
Basic Business Site: $500
A site with 1 to 3 Web pages and a scanned image of your company logo.
Additional scanned images $15 each.
Dynamic Business Site: $1000
A full Web site consisting of 4 to 10 pages with company logo and up to
5 scanned images. Customer interactivity including e-mail, forms and links to
related sites. Additional scanned images $10 each.
Corporate Web Site: $3000
An enterprise level Web site of 11 to 25 pages with company logo and up
to 10 scanned images. Intranet-based customer/employee support included.
Additional scanned images $5 each.
Exotic Extras: $$$$
E-Commerce, video conferencing, live video, high user-interactivity,
database connectivity, knowledge systems, traffic analysis, intranets,
firewalls, discussion groups, etc. (These may be exotic now. But, soon you won't
be able to do without them.) We can do it! Let's talk.
On-Site Consulting: $75/Hour
On-Site planning sessions and support for setting up your computer
system, internet accounts, training, and making updates to your Web site.
ISP Access & Storage:
Non-Domain Name Site: $15/Month (approx. average)
Domain Name Site: $25-$35/Month (average)
$100 Domain Name Registration Fee
$50 Annual Re-Registration
Your Own Web Server: $2000-$3000 Startup

Additional Costs:
Additional development costs may be incurred with adding such features a
video, animation, sound, site updates, etc. These costs can be handled on an
individual basis since some items may be easy to implement while others may
require substantial work. Wherever possible, I will try to determine costs up
front. Updates for instance, may require only updating some text or adding a
link for which there would be no charge. A redesign of a page would involve
costs based on the degree of upgrade.
Additional costs may also be incurred for purchasing third party hardware and
software needed to implement your Web site.
